Today I went drawing with the idea of continuing work on a landscape with trees. Having arrived on location it started raining so I took cover under a willow tree and decided instead to draw this scene, Willow in the Rain.
I learnt a valuable lesson, always be flexible, you can’t negotiate with the weather so take advantage of the weather! I’m pleased with the unexpected results. And both me and my iPad managed to stay dry. The landscape that I had originally planned to finish was completed a few days later.
